The Diploma Equivalence (Denklik Belgesi) is a document stating that your high school diploma is equivalent to a Turkish high school diploma and you are therefore apt to enter studies in a higher education institution in Turkey.
Obtaining the High School Equivalency Certificate is MANDATORY in order to finalize your registration in any Turkish Higher Education Institution, including Haliç University.
In order to apply for your High School Equivalency Certificate, you will need to apply through the following link: https://edenklik.meb.gov.tr
You will have to fill your personal, educational information, and then you will choose the Equivalency Center where you will continue your procedure there.
Note: In case you studied your high school in Turkey, then you will not need to obtain the “Denklik” Document.
Note: For Graduate students who completed their previous Bachelor or Master diploma outside of Turkey must have the recognition of their diploma confirmed by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK), so you will not have to obtain the “Denklik” Document.
