We bring our students together with important figures of the publishing industry such as contemporary writers, poets, editors, and translators, as well as valuable academicians and sector representatives in the field of Translation Studies, through our regular events. (this part can be deleted)

Starting from the first semester, students choose one of the foreign language courses in Italian or French and continue the course they choose for eight semesters. If the student is successful enough in its foreign language, they may choose a second foreign language to study.

We attach particular importance to the education of our students in Europe with the Erasmus and Erasmus+ Program, and we do the necessary work without interruption to ensure this. We recommend our department’s students to benefit from this placement program which provides better advantages than study-abroad programs.

We support you to experience the difficulties of business life and test your knowledge and skills in your field by providing you with internship opportunities within the scope of our university’s Education in the Sector Program.

Memsource, a cloud-based commercial translation management system and computer-assisted translation (CAT) tool is given to our students with a license for their translation needs.
