Fall 21 Registration

You have finally reached your last step in becoming a part of Haliç! We share your excitement in starting a new journey of education and experience in your life. There are only a couple of steps left for you to follow in order to complete this process smoothly. Below you may find all the required steps to follow along with their instructions.

Documents Check

Visit the International Office

After successfully taking your appointment for the registration process, you need to visit the International Office to have your original documents checked by the Registration Team.

Payment Confirmation

Visit the Financial Affairs Office

Upon having your documents checked, you should confirm your first semester tuition fee payment (including deposit) at the Financial Affairs Office. You should make sure to bring along your payment receipts with you.

Payment is confirmed, Registration Starts!

Last stop, Student Affairs Office!

Once you get the confirmation of your payment reception, you can move on to the Student Affairs Office to start your final registration process.

Language Proficiency Exam

School of Foreign Languages / TÖMER Office

After you complete your registration, you will be contacted by the relevant Language School, according to the language of instruction of your chosen department, regarding your Language Proficiency Exam to be taken. As you will be contacted via email, you do not need to visit the unit for this step.

Courses Start!

Residence Permit Application

Applications for the Student Residence Permit should be made within the first month of your arrival in Turkey or before the expiry date of your allowed stay in the country.

Undergraduate Students

For Bachelor's Students, the following documents are needed to be submitted by hand in order to receive the Student ID Card:

  • High School Diploma (& Translations of documents if not in English/Turkish)
  • High School Transcript (& Translations of documents if not in English/Turkish)
  • Denklik – Equivalency Paper (could be given later)
  • Blue Card (For Turkish Origins)
  • Residence Permit (if available)
  • Passport
  • 2 Photographs (White Background)

Graduate Students

For Graduate Students, the following documents are needed to be submitted by hand in order to receive the Student ID Card:

  • Original Bachelor’s Diploma (& Translations of documents if not in English/Turkish)
  • Original Bachelor’s Transcript (& Translations of documents if not in English/Turkish)
  • Blue Card (For Turkish Origins)
  • Residence Permit (if available)
  • Passport
  • 2 Photographs (White Background)
